Comments from attendees of this course in May 2025
- Ease of access, varied content with good case demonstration and discussions, very good and engaging speakers. Good to have it online!
- I liked the breadth of the course and that it was online, very good speakers, good content and good timekeeping
- Very pleased with this course, especially with the Head & Neck, Endocrine, Haematology, Lung and Urology components of the course (most commonly encountered in my practice).
- This has been very useful for me for reviewing MDT cases, and just being aware of the limitations of the technique and pitfalls etc.
- Webex easy to set up and very intuitive to use, unlike a few other conferencing platforms I’ve experienced previously
- Excellent booking system, very easy with videos and instructions, no complaints, very professional
- The lecturers presented the cases very well giving importance to paying attention to details, advantages of PET-CT over conventional CT
- I am a radiology resident who will be commencing subspecialty training in nuclear medicine shortly and this will hopefully put me in a good starting position to report PET-CT in my base training scheme
- A great mix of didactic and case-based teaching with gradation in the level of complexity – helps with establishing base concepts and then thinking through how to use these to approach real-life cases where interpretation is not straightforward. The course kept extremely well to time!
- Very good DICOM IMAGES , STREAMING AND CONTENT
- Good coverage of a range of PET tracers and their use across different sub-specialities. Good introduction talk. Excellent case examples in almost every talk.
- Great background on PET, wide exposure to the practical. It could have been better to have more interaction, but I think this is mostly up to us delegates as well.
Comments from attendees of this course in May 2024
- Great variety of topics covered. relevant indications and good tips for interpreting in different cancers and how the reports impact management.
- Great to use cases- DICOM was really good. So well organised and structured with fab time keeping.
- Very useful . specially I am doing lung MDT, definitely this will improve my interpretation ability. Happy to join another session on PET imaging.
- Very good. thank you, sessions run very smoothly and very good use of slido.
- IT support available when needed, excellent service, thx for your prompt response & support
- Sessions with really relevant stuff with succinct recapping of basics and then detailed and focussed teaching of the more rare/tertiary aspects
- I liked the on line, interactive nature, quality of speakers, cover all aspects. good cases. Most of the sessions were well explained and interesting
- So useful as I start out learning PET-CT. Will take it further in my career. Given me a lot of confidence with spotting findings and understanding clinical relevance. Really valuable focus on common pitfalls!
- Great content Great teachers Great topics
- Very good on line -easy to attend and interact…and from home!
- Wide scope ,good presentation ,different cases.
- What I have learnt will allow me to be more confident when recommending and reviewing PET-CT.
- Coverage of wide range of topics, hands on cases and time management.
- More use of the cases potentially with an element of reporting – good to see pathology but sometimes useful to talk about reporting style/language/phraseology. Brain PET could have been covered as this is a significant growth area.
- This course will improve my reporting going forwards and overall understanding of PETCT.
- Very good for MDT review, direct practical impact on everyday practice.
- I’m doing haematology MDT meeting ,and the course is directly related to my scope of work.
- I am usually involved in reporting PET in my clinical practice. This has helped me widen my knowledge with exposure to huge variety of cases.
- I gained a better understanding of limitations, and pitfalls of PET that I may come across during my MDTs as well as use/indications of PET outside my subspecialty interests

Access to cases for our imaging events
Our imaging courses are very much an interactive experience. Presentations are kept to the minimum and then you'll be into the fully featured cloud based DICOM viewer, looking at cases, feeding back your findings using our interactive tools. You'll get immediate feedback and learning points from our expert faculty member.
- Attendance of the course includes access to the database of cases associated to this event on our server at PostDICOM.
- Full access to each case with a full toolset to open, view and manipulate each case alongside the faculty but on your own screen!
- You will maintain your access to the resource throughout your on-demand service period too.
Sample the DICOM viewer here. A window will load below the buttons (best demonstrated on a computer rather than mobile device)
