the aim
This course aims at providing delegates with a practical and comprehensive review, and focussed discussion, on a wide range of gynaecology MRI cases that are encountered daily; for them to gain further understanding of gynaecology MRI imaging interpretation.
This new Infomed course has been organised in response to suggestions and feedback from many general radiologists, who have attended Infomed courses and more lately webinars in the last 2-3 years.
This practical case-based webinar, taught by specialist gynae radiologists who practice in busy teaching hospitals, will provide delegates with top tips, pitfalls, and teaching pearls.

Course director
Dr Nishat Bharwani
Dr Nishat Bharwani is a Consultant Radiologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London. She qualified with honours from Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ Medical School in 2000 and undertook basic medical training in London and Brighton, obtaining membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2003. She completed general Radiology training at St George's Hospital (2003-2008) and a fellowship in body MRI at Barts and The London NHS Trust (2008-2010), becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2008. Her radiological interests include gynaecological imaging, oncological imaging and urological imaging and she has published in these areas. Nishat is head of specialty for Gynaecological and Urological Imaging at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
Nishat is heavily involved in teaching and training. She previously held the position of Training Programme Director for Radiology trainees at Imperial and is currently joint academic training lead for the London School of Radiology. Nishat regularly delivers lectures and workshops both nationally and internationally. She is an examiner for the Royal College of Radiologists FRCR 2a examination.
Faculty members
Dr Faye Cuthbert
Faye is a radiology consultant at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. She graduated with distinction in clinical sciences from Kings College London before undergoing training as a hospital medic in Kent and London (with membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2009) prior to specialising in Radiology in 2010.
As well as offering expertise in all aspects of general body imaging leading to specific diagnosis, Faye has specialist knowledge in gynaecological, renal and urological imaging with particular interest and expertise in abdominal and pelvic ultrasound, CT and MRI. As part of her role at UHS, Faye is radiological lead for ultrasound imaging in the trust, she is a clinical lecturer at Brighton and Sussex medical school (with PGCertMedEd in 2018). She has been a member of the BSUR since 2013 and its currently Chair for the committee.
Dr Ayshea Hameeduddin
Dr Ayshea Hameeduddin is a Consultant Radiologist at Barts Health where she is the Clinical Lead for gynaecology and genitourinary radiology. She qualified from the Royal Free Medical School in 2003 and commenced Radiology training in 2006 where she subspecialised in nuclear medicine. She undertook a post-CCT fellowship in oncology imaging in 2011 at the Royal Marsden Hospital where she also completed an MSc in Nuclear medicine before commencing her consultant post in 2012 at Barts. Dr Hameeduddin reports PET-CT and gynae/GU imaging MRI/CT in her routine practice.
Dr Hameeduddin also has a keen interest in teaching and is an examiner for the Royal College of Radiologists.
Dr Anju Sahdev
Dr Sahdev is a Uro-Gynae Radiology Consultant, a Reader in Diagnostic Imaging and Director for Imaging Research at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, Barts Health, London. Having graduated from University of London in 1991, Dr Sahdev completed her Radiology training at University College Hospital and St Bartholomew’s Hospital, becoming a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 1998.
Her radiological specialties are imaging in abdominal and pelvic oncology, particularly gynaecological, endocrine and uro-oncology diseases.
She has authored and co-authored more than 85 peer reviewed publications, has authored 20 chapters in clinical and imaging textbooks and lectures regularly at national and international meetings.
Dr Sahdev is an associate editor for the British Journal of Radiology and Cancer Imaging and a reviewer for several peer review journals including Clinical Radiology, European Radiology and a member of the educational subcommittee of the International Cancer Imaging Society.
She is the gynaecological imaging module lead for the UK Radiology Integrated Training Initiative (R-ITI) e-learning programme.
Dr Miriam Salib
Dr Miriam Salib is a Consultant Radiologist at Barts Health NHS Trust, London, UK. She earned her medical degree from The University of Nottingham and undertook her radiology training at Imperial. Her specialist interest is in GU imaging.
Dr Vikas Shah
Dr Vikas Shah (MRCP FRCR) is a Consultant Radiologist at the University Hospitals of Leicester in the UK, an Honorary Associate Professor and Lead for Undergraduate Radiology at the University of Leicester, and a Senior Editor of Radiopaedia. He undertook his undergraduate and postgraduate education in London, completing radiology training at the Imperial College hospitals, before commencing his consultant post in 2011. In addition to his clinical practice of abdominal and emergency radiology, he has extensive experience of education. He has been a co-convenor of the virtual conferences Radiopaedia 2021 and 2022, a past Vice President of UKIO, and was on the Professional Learning and Development Committee of the Royal College of Radiologists. In addition to publishing about pelvic floor imaging, he has taught on the topic at BSGAR, BSUR and UKIO.
He has a particular passion for delivering radiology education using social media and new technology, widely known through his website and social channels as 'thexraydoctor', and was an Aunt Minnie semi-finalist in 2018 for his innovative use of social media and technology in delivering radiology education to a global audience. Outside of work, Vikas is kept very busy by his young children and is slowly but surely mastering the art of Lego!

Dr Sam Sudderuddin
Qualified in 2003 from Imperial College. After undertaking taining in medicine she went onto radiology Training at Imperial in 2007. After qualifying as a Radiology Consultant Sam has worked at Watford Hospital NHS Trust before moving back to Imperial College as a Consultant with special interests in Gynaecology and Breast Imaging and is currently Head of Service for Urogynae.

Presentations are kept to the minimum and then you'll be into the fully featured cloud based DICOM viewer, looking at cases, feeding back your findings using our interactive tools. You'll get immediate feedback and learning points from our expert faculty member.

Will I need any special software to partake?
NO. Infomed shall provide you, upon registration a link to stream the course within your web browser, or you can download a small application to run it as a separate window on your computer. If you would prefer a mobile device, we shall also include a link download an app from the Play Store/App Store.
Can I interact with the speakers?
YES! It is very much encouraged. There will be Q&A sessions chaired by Infomed. You can type your questions in the ‘chat’ facility and they will be put to the speakers.

I've connected to a course but can't hear anything
When you connect to a course you should see some introductory slides and hear music.
If you cannot hear any music please check you are connected to the audio.
At the bottom of the webex meeting you may see a button that says “Connect to audio”.
Click this and then select “Use computer for audio” in the pop-up box.
If you have connected by a browser you may need to give your browser access to your microphone in order to connect to the audio.
Click the padlock in the top left of your browser and make sure microphone access is allowed

What do I need to join a course?
To join an Infomed Online course you simply need an internet connection and a browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari).
