For neurologists involved in adult care, two of the more challenging and evolving areas of practice are the management of neurological conditions during pregnancy and the interpretation of complex neuroradiology. Both require not only up-to-date knowledge but also confident, informed decision-making in real clinical settings. If you’re seeking a CPD course for neurologists that delivers practical, focused learning with immediate relevance to your work, we invite you to join us for two upcoming online courses: the Neurological Disorders in Pregnancy and Postpartum Course 2026 and the Neuroradiology Focus Course 2025.
Each offers expert-led, case-based teaching designed to support consultants and senior trainees in making better, faster, and safer decisions.
Here are all the key details for the two online courses:
Neurological Disorders in Pregnancy and Postpartum Online Course 2026
Taking place live and online on Thursday 29 January 2026, this one-day course brings together leading faculty experts to explore common and high-risk scenarios that neurologists may encounter in pregnant and postpartum patients.
Designed for Consultants and senior STs in Neurology, Obstetrics, and Gynaecology, the programme offers more than just theoretical knowledge. It combines a practical format, interactive sessions, and a strong focus on collaborative care and clinical decision-making.
Covering key conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, neuromuscular disorders, and complex headache syndromes, the course delivers an evidence-based update with direct clinical relevance.
Among the growing number of CPD courses for neurologists, this one stands out for its focused attention on the neurological challenges unique to pregnancy and the postpartum period; an area often overlooked in general neurology training.
Delegates will receive 6 CPD credits and a certificate of attendance.
Course Director
Dr Graziella Quattrocchi
Consultant Neurologist, National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London and North Middlesex University Hospital
Dr Quattrocchi trained in medicine and then in neurology at the University of Catania, Italy. After her training, she undertook a masters in neuroepidemiology and tropical neurology at the European Institute of Tropical Neurology in Limoges, France.
She then moved to London, where she completed a PhD in motor neuroscience at University College London, and she developed a clinical and research interest in strokes. Her clinical interests are general and acute neurology and stroke, and in particular stroke in young people.
Neuroradiology Focus 2025
Broadcasting live online on Tuesday 11 November 2025, Neuroradiology Focus delivers a one-day, high-yield imaging update for clinicians looking to improve their confidence in complex neuroradiology interpretation.
Designed for consultant general radiologists, senior trainee neuroradiologists, neurologists, and neurosurgeons, the course offers a focused, case-based approach to key areas including cranial nerves, skull base, and neuro-specific spinal pathology.
The format combines concise, interactive presentations with real cases on PACS, led by expert faculty. Each session includes structured discussion and Q&A, allowing you to test your skills and engage with challenging scenarios encountered in clinical practice.
Unlike traditional lecture-heavy courses, Neuroradiology Focus 2025 is built around direct application—making it ideal for consultants and senior trainees seeking relevance, depth, and flexibility.
Participants will earn 6 CPD credits, in accordance with the Royal College of Radiologists’ CPD Scheme, and receive a certificate of attendance.
Course Director
Dr Maureen Dumba
Consultant Diagnostic Neuroradiologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
Dr Dumba was appointed as a consultant diagnostic neuroradiologist at NHNN in 2021 following general radiology training and a subspeciality neuroradiology fellowship at Imperial (St Mary’s, Hammersmith and Charing Cross hospitals, London). Having trained at a leading neurosciences centre, she has experience in all aspects of neuroimaging, including advanced.
As mentioned, both courses will be fully online, making them easy to access from anywhere without interrupting your clinical schedule.
However, if you’re not available on the day, you can still book the on-demand catch up service that will give you 120 days access to watch at your own pace.
With Dr Graziella Quattrocchi and Dr Maureen Dumba’s expertise, alongside contributions from other experienced faculty, these are two CPD courses for neurologists you won’t want to miss.
