Prof Andrea Rockall

Andrea Rockall is Clinical Chair of Radiology, Imperial College London and Hon Consultant Radiologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Following graduation from King’s College Hospital, London in 1990 she trained in radiology at St Mary’s Hospital and University College Hospital, London. She was awarded the Rohan Williams Medal (Gold Medal) for the FRCR examination. In 2000, she was appointed as Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Imaging at Queen Mary University London and Honorary Consultant Radiologist at Barts and The London NHS Trust and has worked at Imperial and since 2012.

Her special interests are in genitourinary cancer, image-based clinical trials, functional imaging in response assessment and machine-learning applications in radiology. She is currently the Chief Investigator of the CRUK MAPPING trial in cervix and endometrial cancer and three NIHR trials MALIBO, MALIMAR (machine learning studies) and MROC (multicenter UK trial evaluating multi-parametric MRI in suspected or confirmed ovarian cancer).

Dr Nishat Bharwani

Dr Nishat Bharwani

Dr Nishat Bharwani is a Consultant Radiologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London. She qualified with honours from Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ Medical School in 2000 and undertook basic medical training in London and Brighton, obtaining membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2003. She completed general Radiology training at St George's Hospital (2003-2008) and a fellowship in body MRI at Barts and The London NHS Trust (2008-2010), becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2008. Her radiological interests include gynaecological imaging, oncological imaging and urological imaging and she has published in these areas. Nishat is head of specialty for Gynaecological and Urological Imaging at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
Nishat is heavily involved in teaching as joint Training Programme Director for Radiology trainees at Imperial, joint academic training lead for the London School of Radiology, and regularly delivers lectures and workshops both nationally and internationally. She is an examiner for the Royal College of Radiologists FRCR 2a examination.

Dr Faye Cuthbert

Dr Faye Cuthbert

Faye is a radiology consultant at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. She graduated with distinction in clinical sciences from Kings College London before undergoing training as a hospital medic in Kent and London (with membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2009) prior to specialising in Radiology in 2010.

As well as offering expertise in all aspects of general body imaging leading to specific diagnosis, Faye has specialist knowledge in gynaecological, renal and urological imaging with particular interest and expertise in abdominal and pelvic ultrasound, CT and MRI. As part of her role at UHS, Faye is radiological lead for ultrasound imaging in the trust, she is a clinical lecturer at Brighton and Sussex medical school (with PGCertMedEd in 2018). She has been a member of the BSUR since 2013 and its currently Vice-Chair for the committee.
