Sarah studied at Cambridge University and University College London followed by working in pretty much every corner of London as a trainee. She is a consultant with specialist interests in obstetric anaesthesia and education. She is published internationally for her research with interests in non-invasive cardiac output monitoring and ROTEM in obstetrics. Sarah is an elected Executive Committee member of the Obstetric Anaesthetists’ Association, where she is currently the Honorary Secretary and the Chair of the Surveys subcommittee. She is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at St George’s University London, Southamption University Medical school and Lecturer at Brunel University Medical School. She has authored two revision textbooks for anaesthetic trainees. Outside of work when she’s not running around after two boys she enjoys cycling up and down large hills, choral singing, and the odd glass of fine wine (although not all at the same time!)
