The First Four Hours - Event Review
A practical three-day national conference for Doctors dealing with patients
presenting to Emergency Departments, on 11th–13th April 2005

 
Over 175 delegates attended this conference and judging from delegate evaluation forms, and feedback from speakers and sponsors, this event was an outstanding success.

Delegates, speakers and sponsors highlighted the practical focus of this event as a key contributor to its success. The quality of the lecturers and the coverage of the presentations were highly rated.
The figures below show the ratings as recorded in the delegate evaluation forms.

Coverage:
Delegates found that the level of content and information was highly relevant to the audience, namely, consultants, registrars and middle grades who are at the front door managing the critical first four hours of care for patients presenting as an emergency.
Level:
The figure to the side shows graphically the delegates views with regard to the conference suitability for its target audience.
Achievement:
It is encouraging to see that the great majority of delegates had their learning objectives met, as shown in this chart
