  • The keynote session focuses on recent developments in the Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine (PHEM, training and career progression, how PHEM will link in with trauma centres/systems locally and nationally, and the contrasts between PHC in and out of London.

  • The conference contributes to developing effective team management for doctors from a variety of backgrounds and actively delivering PHC. All lecturers are actively involved in PHC and transfer services throughout the UK.

  • As major PHC becomes increasingly a consultant-led service, with the emphasis on early expert decision-making, it is imperative that consultants develop their PHC skills and expertise sooner rather than later.
